I'm Eric Hansen, and I am a competitive fencer trying to qualify for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. I am currently ranked 5th in Men's Epee in the USA. In my weapon, I am one of only two americans ranked in the top 64 in the world.This website will chronicle the tournaments I am going to on my way to hopefully qualifying to the Olympics - an extremely difficult task now that the F.I.E., fencing's international governing body, has severely limited the number of entries!
