Biography

Kelvin was born in England and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He now lives in Brighton, England.

Early on, he had the opportunity to cultivate his skills spinning alongside some of San Francisco biggest House music DJ's of that time at some of the cities' historic events. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Philadelphia and had the good fortune to become acquainted with DJ's Josh Wink and King Britt - an exposure that led him to be inspired to continue to hone his skills as a DJ. He then set his sights for the South-East Coast of the United States where he was to open the only dance music specialty shop for the entire southern region, GrassRoots Records.

His knowledge of House music's industry figures and his work ethic led him to become studio manager of San Francisco's infamous Moulton Studios, known worldwide for its heavy involvement in the careers of some of the hottest producers in House music. He has gone on to work as label relations manager for Clickgroove.com, one of Europe's premier DJ download sites, and is currently involved in digital marketing as well as continuing to dj and produce.

During his years behind the decks he has played alongside some of house music's most esteemed djs and producers, including Garth, Jeno, Raoul Belmans, Demarkus Lewis, Luke McKeehan, Buck, Chris Lum, Jay-J, Julius Papp, Miguel Migs, Iaian Carey, Mazi, Charles Spencer, King Britt, Olivier Desmet, DIY, To-Ka Project, Asad Risvi, Jay Tripwire, Jake Childs, Joey Youngman, Johnny Fiasco, Pete Moss, Jazzy Eyewear, Larry Heard, Jovonn, Brett Dancer, David Harness, Jay West, Inland Knights, Hipp-E, Massimo Da Costa, Lawnchair Generals, Pete Moss,Nathan Coles, East Coast Boogiemen, Adonis and more.

Kelvin has recently begun to produce his own trax and has released music on a selection of established house labels including Tango, Spacekat, Soulstar, Nightshift, Multitracked, Kolour, NY Soul, On The House, Lost My Dog, Sound Between Movement, Greenhouse, Hudd Trax and Nordic Trax . His releases have received support from DJs worldwide and received acclaim in various publications.

Label man Luke McKeehan delivers another excellent deep house display in this double CD. He's included 5 of Kelvin's trax over the mixed and unmixed CD, along with gems from the likes of Jay Tripwire, Jon Delirious, Gavin Boyce, Pete Moss,Jazzy Eyewear, Gawron Paris, Hipp-E and more.

Two vinyl releases are set to drop on UK labels LMD and HuddTraxx over the next few months, both featuring a selection of deep tracks inspired by the classic NJ sound. Kelvin's recent remix for Lost My Dog has been rated in the recent issue of IDJ and has been getting support from top djs around the globe.
